I write science fiction, mostly what is called "hard" science fiction. Heavy on spaceships, aliens, time travel, parallel worlds and the like and very, very light on vampires, werewolves, sword & sorcery and elves.
Why do I write this particular type of fiction? I found myself browsing a book store for new books to read and found a disheartening proportion of books were not the hard stuff. Since I read two or three books a week, this was a problem. I finally decided to write what I loved to read. I hope you find it enjoyable, I know I get a hoot out of my own stories! But then again these stories are an extension of myself, and after many years of working at it I've finally come to the place where I can actually stand to be in the same room with myself for more than a minute.
